Looking for documentation on all the Notes INI variables?

I had a customer ask if there was an ini setting to make a Full-Text Index show up on a local mail server as opposed to the non-Domino network share that they are storing the data on.  After some searching, I found this link.  It list every INI setting with a description and where it applies, server or client.

So I started digging around but found nothing useful.  I did see this one and thought I'd point this out as we recommend customers set this when performing electronic data discovery.

FT_Max_Search
_Results

Applies to: Servers and clients Specifies the maximum number of results (up to 2147483647) that can be retrieved at one time on a database without any index. For example: FT_Max_Search_Results = 10000 allows a single NotesDatabase or NotesDocumentCollection "FTSearch" to return up to 10000 entries. Default setting is 5000. FT_Max_Search
_Results = number of entries There is no UI equivalent

Hopefully this link helps you find something useful.

I know another website with notes.ini entrys:

{ Link }

For me it is much more better then Rudi´s one. Because the lntoolbox.com has some deeper infos about the entrys. For example they crosslink to other ressources or give you details in which version the entry is obsolete or valid.

Oh and you can add comments to the entrys and the webmaster will add your comments to the database entry if needed. So its not a static collection.

@Woonjas

I use also the stuff from

{ Link }

it seamed it is growing very fast and has more new values. For example the 8.5 stuff is completely missing in Rudi´s application.

Linked here from your connections blog, could not figure how to comment there.

A long time one I've used for notes.ini reference is:

{ Link }

Under resources, choose Notes.ini Reference. None of the ones I've seen are perfect, but this one's been good for me in the past.

@ManfredMüller -> InToolbox actually uses my Database, as the owner is a buddy of mine.. still.. he sends all his found links to me, and I incorporate them. I am the only one who allows this database to be replicated, and thus taken off-line. I've found that allowing comments to be added ON-LINE is way too much trouble, I DO allow them to be added, but they would simply need to be mailed to me. DRCC is unwilling to share, and I for one find my collection the largest around.. but I am biased.. so that does not count. :-)

So IF you want the database, send me an email adress, and I will send the Zip file, IF you want to replicate, send me a Safe ID and I will allow that too.. without any charge, now or in the future, and it DOES get updated.
