Virtual Scavenger Hunt Official Contest Rules
GENERAL INFORMATION: The sponsor of Lotusphere 2010 Virtual Scavenger Hunt CONTEST from Sherpa Software LP as Sponsor (the "Contest") is Sherpa Software Group LP ("Sponsor"), having a place of business located at 456 Washington Ave, Suite 2, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, AND NO OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND IS IMPLIED. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, TAXED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. PARTICIPATION CONSTITUTES ENTRANT'S AND ENTRANT’S EMPLOYER FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL AGREEMENT TO AND ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES. EACH WINNER IS EXPECTED TO COMPLY WITH THE PRACTICES AND REQUIREMNTS OF THEIR EMPLOYER.
CONTEST PERIOD: Contest begins on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and ends on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. EST.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is offered to all persons age 18 and over as of the date of entry. Persons ineligible include those wearing a Lotusphere Exhibitor, Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Sponsor, or any Lotusphere Exhibitor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of such persons are also not eligible to participate in the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER: Eligible persons (each an “Entrant”) can enter the Contest by: visiting a Sherpa Software employee during the Contest Period and receiving a scavenger hunt card or through the official Sherpa Software Facebook and Twitter pages. Prizes will be given at random.
Only one (1) entry per person, per day is permitted during the Contest Period. Entries will be deemed made at the time of entry. By participating, Entrant agrees to the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
PRIZES: Sponsor will be giving away a total of $800 in prizes during the Contest Period which includes the following. Three portable LCD TV’s valued at $100 will be awarded on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. The $500 grand prize will be awarded after the Contest Period is over on February 1, 2010. Each Entrant will be given a virtual scavenger hunt card in exchange for a badge scan where Sponsor will receive Entrant’s contact information including Company Affiliation, Job title, Company Address, Entrant’s company email address, and Company phone number. The card will give instructions to the Entrant to find the clues and answers to enter for the $500 grand prize. All Entrants for the grand prize must complete the scavenger hunt and enter the answers correctly. Entrants for the LCD TV’s are not required to complete the scavenger hunt. By accepting a prize of $500 the Entrant grants Sponsor the right to use Entrant's name and photo for promotional purposes.
