Sherpa Software Releases Archive Attender for Exchange Version 2.5
Discovery Attender® Enhances Content Search and Result Management
Pittsburgh, PA, March 16, 2006 – Sherpa Software has announced the latest release of their automated e-discovery tool, Discovery Attender for Exchange 2.0. This new version introduces a new architecture designed to improve the review of results and streamline the searching of mail stores and files while maintaining Sherpa Software’s renowned ease of use and small product footprint.
Discovery Attender 2.0 adds more flexibility for users to better manage searches. This eliminates any size limitation constraints and provides an easier division of projects. In previous versions, all searches and results were stored in a default database that was tied to the installation structure and only available for review from the original installation. In 2.0, each search with the associated result details are stored in their own database. These individual databases eliminate any previous database size limitation constraints. Related searches are grouped together in projects, allowing them to be more portable and stored across multiple locations. This new structure also permits individual projects to be viewed from multiple installations. On the results side, new annotation tools such as labels and marks have been added to make result sets easier to review and organize.
The search wizard of Discovery Attender has also been enhanced with this new release. Wizard pages have been added and modified to give the user more control in defining search conditions. The search engine has been rewritten for improved search speed and accuracy. Users will also be able to access their data and monitor their searches through a new, integrated main console.
