Sherpa Software Releases Discovery Attender® for Exchange
Automatically Search and Retrieve Information in Common File Storage Areas, Exchange Mailboxes and PST Files
Pittsburgh, PA, March 30, 2004 – Sherpa Software, creators of Mail Attender® for Exchange and PST Attender®, has introduced a new product into their Attender® Utilities line that can automatically audit, search and retrieve electronic information located in common file storage areas, Exchange mailboxes and PST files (personal storage folders). Discovery Attender for Exchange simplifies investigative tasks and secures critical information once it is located.Whether a company is involved in a legal discovery request, performing an internal audit or simply trying to reduce potential liabilities, dealing with electronic information in the discovery process can be very challenging. Discovery Attender works by searching specified locations for items that match criteria entered by the user. Search criteria include: keywords/phrases, dates, file size, email address and file/message type. The results, once found, are extremely flexible and can be reported on, copied, opened or moved to another location.
“Companies of all sizes can now investigate the content of their information stores in a very easy and cost-effective way,” said Marcia Medve, Senior Product Sales Specialist. “For as little as $1000.00 an organization can search and secure relevant information.”
More than being reactive, Discovery Attender provides the ability to manage electronic data on an ongoing basis through routine monitors. With this product, companies will reduce the time and costs associated with search and discovery, secure potential evidence/critical information and mitigate liabilities.
