Press Release
You can now Archive Documents within your email Database with Mail Attender® for Lotus Notes
Pittsburgh, PA, October 1, 2001 - Sherpa Software Group L.P., has released v4.1 Mail Attender for Lotus Notes , a new version of their existing administrative email utility tool. Mail Attender is a valuable collection of tools that helps support companies in administering policies for mail quotas, document retention and attachment management within their Lotus Notes email systems. When using Mail Attender, administrators are empowered with the ability to decrease the company’s legal liability relating to the corporate mail system and in return retrieving disk space.
Mail Attender v4.1 provides all of the existing benefits of the original version Mail Attender, but with a variety of improved and expanded features. It is now possible to configure Mail Attender to archive documents to a central archive database or to a specific database for each user. This feature will give the email administrator the ability to move a document from the user’s mail database to an archive database so that the user’s mail file is reduced, thus reclaiming space on the mail server. Other features added to version 4.1 of Mail Attender include: nested groups, multiple daily agent executions, circular processing and many more.
Sherpa Software Group, LP is a privately held company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a worldwide distribution channel.
